Dear Friends,

I am glad to know that MDSSS is coming out with its revised website of all the activities for the past years and the ongoing projects.

Under the Directorship of Fr. M. Peter Charles, MDSSS and Staff have been heavily engaged in the efforts to help people move ahead, progress, improve and begin to stand on their own feet.

The church’s network of parishes, institutions and various centers for the service to the people are very supportive to the efforts of MDSSS.

Any social service requires:

• (a) long term planning for the development of people, and;
• (b) short term planning to handle emergencies, such as, natural calamities.

In this regard, the Aid agencies, such as Caritas India, Bihar forum, Diocese of Linz, Missio, Manos Unidas, Kindernothilfe, Kindermissionswerk and Church in Need, etc., have been very supportive and encouraging.

We are very thankful to them.

It is our wish that no deserving citizen feels neglected and discriminated against.

I convey Fr. Peter Charles and his team my good wishes. May their efforts to bring relief, progress and empowerment be fruitful.
