I am very pleased to bring out the revised website which showcases the notable achievements of the organization in the past years and the present.

We are proud today, as we are progressing satisfactorily in the field of social work. Many new opportunities are opening up for us and we are facing a very exciting future.

With the changing need and requirement of the society, the focus of MDSSS is also changing.

As per recent trends, the organization is working towards creating an integrated, sustainable and economically secure society by focusing on Child rights, Child development and protection, Women empowerment, Enhancement of alternate livelihood options, Resource management and Environment conservation and promotion of better health facilities.

Along with this, the organization is dedicatedly working on relief and rehabilitation and trying to create a network with government officials and likeminded NGOs.

All these are possible only with a dedicated team of village community members, volunteers, personnel and support from generous donors like Caritas India, Kindernothilfe, Kindermissionswerk, Manos Unidas, Church in Need, Diocese of Linz, Missio and Bihar forum.

On behalf of the organization, I extend my sincere thanks to the former directors of MDSSS, especially Fr. Maria Selvam, my predecessor, for their commitment and service towards this organization.

I thank the Chairman, Bishop Cajetan Francis Osta, governing body members, my priest colleagues, and the religious for their support and cooperation.
