Roshni Suposhan project was earlier known as SUPOSHON project which singly focused on enhancing the nutrition condition in the deprived section of the society.

In the second phase it is named as ROSHNI SUPOSHAN project with combined focus on nutrition and education. Roshni Suposhan Project is being implemented in fifteen villages of Gwalpara Block in Madhepura District.

The project mainly focuses on promoting social inclusion of the deprived, oppressed and discriminated members of the society with regard to access to education, health facilities, nutritional food and basic survival requirements.

The target group of the project are the Mahadalit Mushahar (Rishidev) community members.

The major goals of the project are to improve the food and nutrition security aspect and education facilities in the area, through awareness building on various government schemes and programs.

It also aims at empowering the community members to stand up for their rights and entitlements through active participation in planning, implementation and review of various issues that hamper their progress and upliftment.

It also emphasizes on uniting the community into CBOs to influence public programs and policy development keeping in mind the requirement of the deprived section of the society.
